Apps for India
Hey guys its Rafi here! How’s life? Mines pretty sweet at the moment. Anyway, I thought I would take a look at a couple of apps out there that might make living in India that little bit easier!
The first one I want to look at is Haptik, it basically works as your very own personal assistant. How? Well, at the other end of the app is an actual human being who is right there at your fingertips to answer any questions or queries you may have. You can ask anything from, which is the quickest way to get from Mumbai to Coorg or give me the number for a local plumber. The app is split into relevant sections so you just click on the one that relates to your query, type your message and wait for a reply. For more common queries there are preinstalled search options to make things that little bit quicker. After giving it ago, I can really see the appeal of this app. You just ask the person at the end of the app and they will come up with an answer or solution. It really is that simple.
So the next app on my list is RailYatri, no surprises that this a rail app but it does a lot more than most. The app allows you to check the status of your train, as well as viewing its movements in real time on a map. You can view timetables, check seat availability and book tickets. It also allows you to look at the train layout so you can pick your seat accordingly, as well as booking food or a taxi. This app really does have everything you need for train travel without the need to make any phone calls to busy helplines.
